Maxime Cardol is a Dutch Canadian self taught fashion photographer. After receiving her diploma for Journalism, she realised that her passion and talent lied in fashion and photography. She spent a lot of her time helping friends who studied at Artemis, which is an art and fashion academy in Amsterdam that focuses on styling, media, food and interior. It was during her study that she began an internship with photographer Alique where she enjoyed the entire experience and when it was over she became the assistent to Nicky Onderwater, but that was already 4 years ago. After years of trial and error and determination she developed her creative talent and her focus mainly now in fashion. She has created her own professional success by surrounding herself with a great team around her which she has learned over the years is just as important as the model and clothing. She is continuously looking for faces with character and personality and of both sexes. She prefers a raw and unpolished look, pure and unedited. Her latest work in on location and the outcome relies on the feelings portrayed by the models and the emotions she captures.
Her latest work consists of a series shot for Posterboy.tv and Glamcult. Maxime makes many test shoots for models in bureaus like Wilma Wakker, Ulla, Future Faces and Touché. And her most recent work for Salon B in Utrecht, a series of portraits hanging on the wall.
