Last weekend the SS17 collections were being presented during Amsterdam Fashion Week, Anouk and Tricja went to a few shows for the Diary. They had a busy schedule so they choose to go to AMFI, Lichting, Tony Cohen and Dennis Diem.
A design student of AMFI and winner of the Lichting 2016 award presented his latest creations from his playful collection he made for his final exams: The Second Sex-vol II”. The collection was colourful, feminine, strong and rebellious but mainly fun.
Restrained and Release. The feeling of being wrapped, tied together experimenting with freedom and personal space, the thrill of the release. The theme came to Tony immediately when he began his first sketches for his SS17 collection.
Sweet Rebel. A feminine and fun collection filled with petticoats, silk, organza and panther prints, lace, leather and cashmere. Feminine and traditional with corsages but yet rebellious and edgy. His shoe collection were adorned with corsages, ribbons and leather.
